ARCHITECTURE & INTERIORS

Art and technology
Architecture is a veritable art, aimed at organizing the spaces where human beings live and work. It develops the structural, functional and aesthetic elements of a building to make it uniquely suited to its purpose. Architectural photography takes into consideration all the aspects of the building, technological and human, artistic and practical; it underlines the main strengths, the balance of the lines, and the use of the spaces.

Sensibility and skill
The representation of interiors, with their furnishings and decorations, requires a perfect balance between natural and artificial light, together with the use of contrasts in order to emphasize the impressions that the photograph seeks to convey. It is the photographer’s sensibility that governs which details to highlight and which to de-emphasize, and not only in terms of tangible objects. It is the photographer’s skill that translates this sensibility into a photograph that represents the interior as he perceives it.
